Happy Father’s Day! The story begins:

Here’s the prompt:

“It is the summer of 2010 and ______ is/are traveling up the Northway, just crossing the Blueline into the Adirondack Park…”

And then what happened?

ReadySetGo! Add a character or a few, a mode of transportation, and start this baby off. Remember, this is a “family friendly” environment, so hold the adult themes and rough language. That said, be creative and continue the story by going to the “stories” page and writing in the “Leave a reply” box. Good luck and remember to use your WordPress account (see instructions on the homepage)!

Also, if you are shy, you don’t have to contribute to the story alone! You can post as a family, a business, an office, a class, a writing or book group, a summer youth camp, any collaboration within this larger region-wide collaboration is welcome.
There is no minimum amount of words you can post. If you feel that the person has to have blue eyes, and it flows with the story, you can post just that detail. As for maximum number of words, well, just remember this is supposed to be a community writing project so although you are welcome to take the story to a point, no one person is the author of this entire story.

    Hi,
You did enter this in the wrong spot, I’m afraid. You need to go to the “Add to the Story” page and contribute to the one that has already begun. The story there will end this weekend so you are welcome to try and end the story yourself. (Unless someone adds on to your piece before the end)
